In substations, the Electromagnetic Interference has becoming a severe problem. So Electromagnetic Compatibility is standing out day and day. Especially the transient electromagnetic pulses, which arise from the operating of the high voltage switches, have the characteristics of high amplitude and wide frequency band. These pulses bring out bad effect to the secondary equipments easily. In view of the inaccutate transient current and voltage measurment data using domestic equipment in the present, the paper has studied the frequency characteristics of the Rogowski coil which are developed by the northwest nuclear technology research institute and American Pearson Company, and the 1000/1 resistance voltage divider. The transmission characteristic is difficultly to be measured in the high frequency situation. The paper has proposed digital measurement method with the signal generating device and the digital storage oscilloscope. With the application of electromagnetic field principle, the paper has analyzed the reason which produces the error, and has carried on the compensation under the frequency range to the measurement data. The method improves the accuracy of the measurement data.
