| One point rotor earth-fault is one the common faults to generators. It couldn't bring serious damage to the generator, but the second point earth-fault occurring threaten seriously the safety of the generator. So the rotor one point earth-fault protection must be installed for the safety of generator. Protection with injection voltage scheme is a new-style protection for the one point rotor earth-fault of the generator. The protection with injection square wave voltage scheme and protection with injection DC voltage scheme are applied mostly at present. Protection with injection square wave voltage scheme represents the direction of injection protection. This paper analyzes the character of injecting square wave voltage protection through the protection device of Siemens, and brings forward the design of software and hardware of injecting square wave voltage protection device and brings forward a scheme in order to improving the protection device of Siemens. This paper also analyzes the character of injecting DC voltage protection, and brings forward a improving scheme that is used to calculate highly precision ground resistor. The CPU plug in unit of protection device has been manufactured, and gets perfect effect in test.
