This paper have researched and designed a locomotive air conditioning power. We cooperate with SaiDi electric research institute on the project. Because the voltage of the supply power of locomotive is DC110 volt, but the air conditioning can just be supplied by thee-phase AC380. So we need transform the locomotive power to supply the motor of air conditioning. By continuous researching, doing experiments and debugging, we confirm the scheme at last. This air conditioning power works well on the locomotive, and it has broad market. This paper mainly including:1. Designed the whole scheme of locomotive air conditioning, including DC-DC and DC-AC.2. Designed the main and control circuit of DC-DC. The main circuit uses boost circuit to increase the voltage from DC110 volt to DC500. The control circuit uses SG3525 to produce the PWM for the IPM, and use voltage close-loop to stabilize the output voltage at DC500.3. Designed the main and control circuit of DC-AC, and also did some programming work. The main circuit uses invert circuit to create three-phase AC380 power for the motor. The control circuit uses 87C196MH to produce SPWM for the IGBT, and can realize frequency control.4. Designed the detecting circuit and auxiliary circuit to protect the whole power system.5. Researched and designed the EMC of the air conditioning power.
