Research Of The Lamp Design Based On Humanism Elements

The light is the essential energy that creates the life, our modern living is closed with the light. Since Thomas Edison invented the incandescent lamp in 1879, innumerable designers have been designing lamps, deducting the floor lamp, the wall lamp, the hanging lamp, the desk lamp and so on. The invention of incandescent lamp has brought enormous convenience to life, and the lamp design is satisfying for people's cultural life and the emotional demand.In China, there are still much deficiency in lamp design , such as the laggard design idea, the singular content and the weak fundamental research ,etc. The current lamps mainly take reflecting technical specification and imitating western lamps as the goal. We should realize that the lamps design performance is the inosculating of the use value, the cultural value and the emotional value.This paper began with the user's individuality demand and the social development, excavated the development tendency of the lamp design based on the human element , generalized the conceptual definiens based on the regional cultural factor, the emotional factor and the sculpting-art factor, took "summation" as the lamp design esthetic orientation, constructed the lamp design system on the humanism element: According to the Product Semantics , the lamp is divided into model symbol-significance and model entity, and then I analysed the embodiment of humanism element in the lamp: The model symbol significance was mainly expressed by the culture-integration and the emotion-venation. Design principle and subject were formed in the culture-conformity based on regional cultural factor.The style and emotional characteristic were summed up in the engendering process of the emotion-venation. The emotional factor was manifested by the introjecting of the essential concern, the situation filter and the sublimates of the ideal-condition , and finally established the model symbol-significance of the lamp. In the model entity aspect, the model characteristic concreted by the modeling symbol-significance was realized by the model-art factor, control led with the rational factor. At last the model entity of the lamp appeared.
