Research And Application Of Home Lamp Design For Emotional Needs Of "Empty Nest Youth"

More and more young people in order to have more development opportunities choose to leave their hometown to fight in big cities,in recent years.Facing the prosperity of big cities and the heavy economic pressure,they feel lonely and hard.At the same time,they are single and live alone.This group is called "empty nest youth".As the main force of social development,young people’s living conditions and emotional needs need to be paid enough attention.So this paper takes the group of "empty nest youth" as the specific research object,and carries out the creative design of home lamp products according to their emotional needs,hoping to bring "empty nest youth" a better emotional experience of home life.The research content of this paper includes the following parts.First of all,through the collation and collection of literature and data to find out the common characteristics of the crowd;second,using the methods of questionnaire survey and interview to clarify the user portrait of "empty nest youth",to clarify the emotional needs of "empty nest youth";third,through the method of field observation,to analyze the daily life status of "empty nest youth" in the home environment.The method of user journey map is used to mine the emotion of "empty nest youth",from which the behavior characteristics of "empty nest youth" and the pain points and opportunity points existing in the process of using lamps are obtained,and the main emotional demands of "empty nest youth" for home lamps are further analyzed and sorted out;then the design ideas that can be used for reference are found through the analysis of excellent design cases,and the design ideas are summarized Finally,aiming at the "empty nest youth",we design the lamps and complete the design practice.Through the research of this topic,the group characteristics and emotional needs of "empty nest youth" are clearly positioned,so that they can stimulate more pleasant living experience in home life.In the design of home lamps,targeted design methods and system solutions are proposed,which ultimately provide a reference for the design of home lamps to meet the emotional needs of "empty nest youth" group Ideas.
