The cable-stayed bridge is born to 17th century. After World War II, following the high strength material and pres-stressed technology widespread application, the job practice improvement and the structure analysis theory development, this ancient bridge to glow the new life. The diagonal cable bridge revival, is one of greatest achievements in the postwar bridge history. In during the short 50 years, the diagonal cable bridge had the rapid development, becomes 200 meters most to have one of competitive ability bridge structural styles to 800 meters spans scopes in, and this scope still had expanded the tendency.The cables of great span cable-stayed because of low frequency and small damping, is easy to induce each kind of wind to send the vibration. This article will study on cross-flow-induced vibration and rain-wind-induced vibration of cables of the cable-stayed bridges. This article concrete content is as following:Cables in solving vibration cross-flow-induced adopted a new way of methods, by changing the cable cross-section shape of the cross-flow-induced affect form, thereby reducing the vortex shedding caused by the fluctuating lift, so cables reduce the vibration cross-flow-induced. Use of curves, through he use of elliptic-linear parameters established by the aerodynamic shape of cable theoretical equation, to lay the foundation for computer simulation.Elliptic right-linear parameters established by the aerodynamic shape of cable theoretical equations arising from the simulated curves, eventually find a suitable cable aerodynamic shape curve. Simulation results show that the shape of the cable relative to the traditional cylindrical cable can effectively reduce the vortex shedding vibration, Cable and by the wind force is decreased. The method proved feasible, the next step for deeper study.As the vibration rain-wind-induced involved structural, wind, rain interaction, the vibration of the complexity of no precise storm excitingtheoretical analysis model. In Chapter 5 of the author based on the existing information and data established the cable sports waterline theoretical equation, as well as waterline of a concussion frequency estimates. After the work is nonlinear analysis method for water and cable element of vibration, parametric analysis of the team excitation of the storm lay the groundwork. Therefore it further revealed the nature of the storm exciting, better prevention the vibration rain-wind-induced exciting, increase the use of the cable-stayed bridge safety.
