Tumor auxiliary treatment system based on PC is introduced in this paper, which is developed on the idea of the virtual instrument(VI) and Traditional Chinese Medicine technique. Under the consideration of the cure requirements and applications, the resource of software and hardware of PC have been used adequately. In this system, the care function, expert help function and acupoints locating help function have been integrated. In this paper, purpose and signification of system research and mechanics study of acupuncture and moxibustion treating tumor are introduced. And based on VI, hardware and software of systems have been designed, including plate and arithmetic. The system function includes medicine expert help, acupoint's locating help and signal generating and implement of electric acupuncture. Specially, applying symbol mapping principle and chaos theory solved the shortcoming of the acupuncture integration and the body adaptability to electric stimulation. In summary, the main results of this paper are: Based on symbolized measurement theory, the mapping of traditional acupuncture manipulating into modern engineering techniques is implemented, and then electric acupuncture signals of emulating the classical acupuncture are generated. According to chaos character, frequency modulating electric acupuncture signal is generated, which solves the body adapts shortcoming finding in electric acupuncture presently. Applying theory of expert system, expert help system based on knowledge is built. Based on VI technique, panels of system are designed including electric acupuncture waveform panel, acupoint's locating help and records management.
