Based on analyses about the latest U.S statistical data and charts, author of this paper deduces the empirical equation of the impeller's geometric parameters, which aims at improving the efficiency of the low special speed centrifugal pump, and shortening the designing period. The development of the special method of impeller's meridional drawing, especially the checking method and procedure's formation of F-L curve, on the base of mathematics analyze, makes the impeller's meridional drawing be really determined more quickly, more accurately, can be more better to content different customer's differentdemands on the function of the product.The thesis analyses and introduces geometric and flow characteristics of cylindrical blades commonly used domestically and internationally. Based on this, according to the current designing demand of the low special speed impeller, using the Visual basic 6.0 computer language as the main development tool, the author develops "the designing software of the low special speed centrifugal pump impeller". This software will benefit for designers to analyze geometric and manufacture characteristic directly and quickly, and reduce blindness in designing in the past, thus providing a new tool of designing and manufacture of the blades.The software has friendly user interfaces and its function is powerful. By testing this software for many times, it is found that it is reliable and credible.
