Based on mathematical analyses and centrifugal impeller design principles, which aims at improving the efficiency of the centrifugal pump and shortening the designing period, author of this paper deduces a special method of impeller's meridional drawing, especially the checking method and procedure's formation of F-L curve. It also makes the impeller's meridional drawing be really determined more quickly, more accurately, and it can be much better to content different customer's distinct on the function of the product.At the same time, according to actual manufacturing requirements, especially in the multistage pump and double-suction pump, whose straight line portion in back shroud streamline is normal to axial lead, author also, by analyzing high specific speed impeller and considering hub diameter, presents a new drawing method of intermediate streamline. This software will benefit for designers directly and quickly, and reduce blindness in design in the past, thus proving a new tool of design and manufacture of the high specific speed blades.In the design, by choosing Visual Basic 6.0 as exploiting tool in this research, author develops "Centrifugal Pump Impeller Design Software". Utilizing formated visual interface, user could input designing parematers directly, by calculating circulatory automatically, and then obtain meridional transversal drawing and impller clipping drawing at last.The software has friendly user interfaces and its function is powerful. By testing this software for many times, it is found that it is reliable and credible.
