With the well quality greasy property, molybdenum disulfide is widely used in industry. But the performance of molybdenum disulfide was limited by its particle size and ratio surface. Because of the well property, ultra-fine molybdenum disulfide powder will have a widespread availability in these fields: catalytic agent, lubricant additive, wear-resisting coating, friction coat etc. So, ultra-fine preparation has become the research hot spot in these years.In this paper, the preparation process of ultra-fine molybdenum disulfide powder with ultrasonic wave field forcing was researched. Firstly, ultra-fine molybdenum trisulfide was prepared by a method of fast precipitation. In the process, surface active agent, temperature, reactant mol ratio, liquid acidity and ultrasonic field-generated invigoration effect which influenced the grain size and yield were researched. Secondly, ultra-fine molybdenum disulfide was prepared from hydrogen recovery of molybdenum trisulfide. Recovery temperature, recovery time, hydrogen mass flow which influenced the grain size and yield of molybdenum disulfide were mainly researched.The results of the experiment were proved: (l)The better experiment technological conditions were: surface active agent absolute ethyl alcohol, reaction temperature 30°C, sodium molybdate reactant initial consistency 0.013mol·L-1, the mixture ratio of Na2S and Na2MoO4 8: 1 and acidity 1.2mol·L-1. In these experiment technological conditions, the grain size of ultra-fine molybdenum trisulfide with narrow distribution range was 0.49μm was prepared. (2)In these conditions: temperature 400°C, recovery time 15min, hydrogen mass flow 16L·h-1, the ultra-fine molybdenum sulfide powder was reduced. The grain size of ultra-fine molybdenum sulfide with narrow distribution range was 130nm. The antifriction gum was prepared with the ultra-fine molybdenum disulfide. Its antifriction and wearable performance was better than the performance of the common molybdenum sulfide.
