| With the global exploitation of ocean resource,different kinds of ocean structures are designed and applied.The transition safty for those structures such as the platform and FPSO,which can't navigate themselves,are more and more taken into consideration.The prediction of transferred resistance has influence on the selection of the tugboat;moreover,the added resistance in wind and wave has influence on the power and speed.This is one of the most important problems except the safty in transition.In this paper,the chief work is to study the prediction of transferred resistance further.The resistance in still water use three-dimensional extrapolation recommended by ITTC. On the researches of added resistance in waves,the added resistance prediction based on the strip approach is usually used.But the strip approach is based on the thin ship assumption.For the full form vessel,the reflection effect must be considered. This paper calculates the added resistance in regular wave for a full form vessel at low speeds,and correct the results caculated by the Hajime Maruo approach. And the calculation result accords with the experiment.For the bugboat selection,it's decided by the propulsive power and the bollard pull.This paper predicts the propulsion factor and wake coefficient.After deciding the tugboat,the speed and power can be predicted more exactly,and the preparation of transition equipments are introduced meantime. |
