Adhesively bonded bars are a new technique of bars anchorage. It has been widely used in rehabilitation, renovationand repairs of concrete structures, as it is easy toanchor steel to concrete. But the bond behavior of adhesively bonded bar is greatly different from that of ordinary bars in concrete. No analysis methods for adhesivily bonded bars are presented in concrete structure code.Although there are plenty of experiment and study about this field, but they are mainly about static study. There is few experiments and study about anti-seismic,so we kown little about the seismic behaviour of chemically planted-bar.In this paper, capacity of bonded bar has been deeply studied in theory and the mechanism and failure mode of adhesively bonded bars in concrete subjected to tension have been invesigated. On the foundation of experiment about one RC joint and three planted-bar joints with different planted depth, point out that it is feasible by using chemically plated bar in aseismatic structure.Sometimes the finite element model of a complicated structure engineering problem is corresponding complicated because many kinds of different elements being used in the model and several kinds of elements composed a mixed analysis model. In the paper,on the basis of the theory that the volume of the steel bars equal to the steel slab, the analysis model is composed. It is soluted with ANSYS and analysed against the conclusion of the experiment.
