Steering kinematics is very important in the operation of bus. Driving direction is controlled by steering wheel to effectuate the driver's intention. Steering is one of the vital systems in the modern automobile and can define automotive active safety. It is always a great concern of all the auto manufacturer and scientific and technological institutions how to engineer steering performance to get good maneuvering. Steering engineering is crucial to various drivers for the times of high speed vehicle, unprofessional driver, intensification of traffic stream; it defines heavily the automotive operating accessibility, flexibility and running safety, and is one of the most fundamental factors which affect maneuvering stability.Steering linkage affects not only nonlinearities change of steering force but also the change of kinematics with the change of space geometry; its layout is affected by the kinematics of front suspension, it is the most difficult controlling element for the engineering.With the theory of space mechanisms, in this study it sets space analysis module to analyze kinematics and then constructs its space linkage with multi-aims as well as the optimal design theory, thereby the maneuvering stability is improved furthest.Through above engineering, it comes to following conclusions:1 The technical data of whole bus defines the concrete structure of trapeze linkage.2 The difference between steering angle of left and right wheel determined by the theoretical steering performance of elastic tire...
