The Conception Planning For Culture Gallery Of Li Canal In Huaian

With the increasing of the importance of waterfront for a city, it has a great significance to set up scientific waterfront space, realize the mutual promotion and organic link between the urban space and the waterfront space for a city's construction.This thesis is based on the conception planning for gallery of LI Canal, and focus on the research of its coiled waterfront space. Through not only analysing the space linkage between Li canal, traffic, building and green space; the structural relationship of lithosphere's transect, speed, visual, feeling and relations of space environment and something like discussion of urban space status of affairs, but also summarizing the successes and limitations at the two banks' existed space shape of Li canal, meanwhile, we also analyse and compare domestic waterfront space's pattern with foreign countries', obtain too much experience. On the other hand, in order to create excellent service space for HuaiAn city, we have identified those roads and key points at the two sides of Li canal, those building's dimension and quantification data of the different distance among buildings, and limited the space shape of Li canal by quantification, shape and quality to create scientific rational layout pattern.
