"Everyone should have their own houses."Housing is always the dream for a peasant in China. Ever since the economic reform, there has been a movement of"building houses hot"in rural area. In the year of 2004, the government advanced a policy that"Building the energy-saving and soil-saving houses". There has been a great upsurge of"building new country"in the whole country. How to build the houses which can save energy and soil? How to create the well indoor thermal environment? It's a challenge to all of the architecture.This research started from the field study in the area of Anji County, Zhejiang province, including Dipu Town, Xiaofeng Town, Baofu Town, Jianshan Town and Shangxiang Town. By combining architectural theory and measuring the indoor thermal environment of the"Ecotype Housing of Anji County", the objective is to explore the developmental process of Farmer House, and make a series of analyses and comparison on research questions raised, and give out a series of method to build the energy-saving and soil-saving houses for peasant.The chapter 1 explores the local environment, characteristics of Housing and the developmental process of Farmer House in Anji County, Zhejiang province.The chapter 2 analyses the actuality of the current Farmer House, which belongs to the third period. By surveying and inquiring the local resident, and measuring the indoor thermal environment, I try to find out the actual disadvantage.The chapter 3 is about the experiment of the ecotypic house, which belongs to the third period. It is made up of 3 parts: introducing the background of"Ecotype Housing of Anji County", measuring the indoor thermal environment, and testifying the real use of some ecotypic method.The chapter 4 focuses on the comparison of the indoor thermal environment of the local house and the"Ecotype Housing of Anji County".The chapter 5 discusses the detailed measure to create the fine indoor thermal environment by combining the traditional technique and modern measure.The innovation of this research consists in three aspects. First, integrating the traditional materials, technologies and modern energy-saving methods,and optimizing to adapt to the requirement of today. Second, research the way of the combination of the modern materials and tradition architectural technologies. Third, simulate the effect of energy-saving method by using some correlate software. The technique and principle, which is cheep and easy to work, will help to create the well indoor thermal environment, and offer some choices and models to build new country and new countryside residence in Anji County, Zhejiang province.
