| As one of important parts of pulverizing system, ball mill is used widely in coal-fired power plants. However, most pulverizing system can not be operated economically. One main reason is that fill level in ball mill is hardly measured precisely. Different from other ANNs, the learning velocity of CMAC is far more rapid. The ball mill Measurement and control system is designed in this paper. CMAC is used to measure and control fill level in this system. And some problems during realization are solved.1. Studied and analyzed dynamic model of ball mill, and summarized function relationships between operating parameters, especially the relationships between fill level and other parameters. These lay a solid foundation of independent variables selections and fill level sample obtaining.2. The ball mill Measurement and control system is designed after analyzing model of ball mill. The communication plan during this system and DCS is made.3. With a lot of experimentations, calibrated the measurement of ball composement and quantity; found the optimized ball quantity. The on-line optimization plan is submitted.4. Introduced the principle of CMAC. Improved it's performance in various aspect, and realized CMAC algorithm by programming. The CMAC-PID combine control method is applied in soft-sensoring and control of fill level.5. Apply this system to a Power Plant. The choose of hardware and configuration software is introduced. The transmitter of vibration sensor is designed. Some problems during realization are solved, such as the acquiring of vibration signal, the realization of complex algorithm in configuration software and the enhancement of database.This paper achieve the measurement and control of fill level using soft-sensoring technology based on CMAC. Some new concept and realization method are submit and applied in project. |
