Because of the unceasing expansion of the distribution network's scale, the wiring way and the movement way is day by day complex, the existing research software do not match with the distribution network. In view of the application that GIS in the power system's department of distribution network's overhaul, this article proposed and realized the modeling of distribution network based on GIS and carries on in its foundation matches the research of power flow calculation,short circuit current calculation and reconfiguration, thus improved the working efficiency and the computation reliability.Through to the analysis research of the present power system GIS's database structure, formulating one method matches the distilling of distribution network's information, depositing the information into the middle database, simultaneously will build the drawing platform, we define some samples of the equipments (such as transformer,insulation switch,load switch and capacitor)and lines of the distribution network, this platform could visit the middle database and get the information of the distribution network, at the same time automatic drawing in the platform, thus realized the geography graph to the electrical graph's conversion, we can also remodeling in the platform(such as add or delete the equipments or lines,edit the information of the equipments,setup the fault node),then constructed the electrical graph platform VDNAP (Visual Distributed Network Analysis Platform).This article realizes the short circuit current calculation,power flow calculation,fault isolation's simulation and reconfiguration of the distribution network based on the VDNAP. Realizing the combination of the calculation data and electrical graph of the distribution network, the calculation result is lifelikeness. According to the radiate characteristic of the distribution network, the method of calculating the power flow is the backward/forward sweeps method, the method of short circuit current's calculation is based on the superposition theorem, this method was simple and also has high accuracy. In the fault isolation's simulation through judging the fault node's position in the line and realizes the fault isolation, make sure powering cut the least region, simultaneously judges the cut switch according to the coordination current. The method of the reconfiguration of the distribution network is called the optimal transfer load algorithm, in the ring circuit constructed by closing the contact switch chooses the most superior section switch to open (according to the least of the net loss), the action of the switches can be seen in the graph..Through this topic's research, realized the conversion of the geography graph to the electrical graph, avoided being massive manually modeling and realized the power flow calculation,short circuit current calculation,fault isolation and reconfiguration of the distribution network based on that, establishing good foundation for the research of the distribution network.
