Nowadays, along with the continuous development of computer and information technology, many enterprises join to the informatization and obtain the successful application. ERP and control systems develop very fast now, however, the most important is how to connect them together. So MES becomes important in computer information system. It will improve the management level and competition advantage of company, and more profit. This paper is for this.In this paper, through the analysis of the current state of manufacturing enterprises and e-manufacturing architecture, we know that manufacturing execution system is most important in manufacturing enterprises. The basic concepts of MES are presented and the future directions of manufacturing execution system are summed up. This paper constructs a manufacturing execution system architecture based on double software bus, and analyzes the three application levels of the structure: ERP layer, the MES layer and control layer; Two technologies: OPC and Web Service; A data processing center: MES data center.This paper also analyzes the manufacturing execution system's core function module: production scheduling and resources disposition, quality management, equipment management and production process management, and briefly introduces other function modules. It presents production scheduling analysis model based on the MES process data warehouse, and also proposes the quality improvement process plan aimed at the quality question. After discussing the key technologies of MES information integration, it proposes MES/control level integrated model based on OPC, MES/ERP integration module based on Web Service and uses J2EE technology integration internal manufacture execution system.As a special manufacturing enterprise, the power plant also has some problems at present, for example, Information isolated island, production scheduling problems and so on. This paper proposes power MES concept to solve the problem how to connect management information system and the control system. It also analyzes the main technologies of power plant information integration, uses J2EE technology to construct the power MES system structure and finishes software design and realization of the equipment foundation information management module.
