Recent years, with the industry applied system continually developing into large capacity and high performance, there are more and more application of dual or multi machines working together in speed regulation system of fluid couplings high-power load. But it takes some new research task, for example: multi machines speed regulation for synchronization, power balance of multi engines drive, new control algorithm application and so on. For speed regulation driving these common loads, such as pumps, fans, conveyor belt, by variable speed fluid couplings, it is meaningful to solve the technical problems of multi-machines control, and to give the reasonable and feasible automatic control system. First this paper research on using variable speed fluid couplings in speed regulation control system of dual pumps or fans machines running in parallel mode. By analyzing the working characteristic of parallel running system, the paper indicates the problems of pumps or fans which are in non-parallel running mode. And based on analyzing the regulation characteristic of variable speed fluid couplings, the paper gives an applied method for synchronization of speed regulation. By taking the experiment, it gets the dynamic response curves in the process of fluid couplings' speed regulation, and the PID controller tuning parameters which are practicable for this type system. Point out that in similar dual pumps or fans parallel running system, using the variable speed fluid couplings in synchronization of speed regulation, the normal PID control method is easy and economical for engineer realization.When variable speed fluid couplings used in drive the conveyor belt, it is different from the system above and multi fluid couplings drive one and the same load. This paper does the further research on the speed regulation driving system of conveyor belt, and gives the control method of power balance in dual machines drive conveyor belt control system. Based on the original performance curves of variable speed fluid couplings, establish its math model and the emulate model of the conveyor belt by taking it as constant torque and big inertia load. And make the emulate research for the system model by Matlab-Simulink software. Point...
