After earthquake and volcano, Landslide is the third natural disaster that greatlythreat the construction work as well as human life and propriety.Because of thehigh-speed development of the economy and the increasing frequency of theconstruction work, the problem of landslide becomes more and more obvious inChina where the landside is widely distributed almost all over the provinces. As aresult, in order to prevent and reduce this disaster, the subject of landslide treatmentbecomes a researching hotspot in the academia and the engineering fields both at home and abroad.The residential and office area of Dazhou electric industry bureau lie on the hill between south slope of Fenghuang mountain and north bank of Zhouhe river.the main buildings in this area are administration building of electric industry bureau,client service center,domestic building and facory buildings,there are thirty-two buildings on the gliding body. Cracks have appeared successively in this area since 2002,these cracks developed unceasingly,the maximum width of crack is more than ten centimeter,the ancient landslide is aliving,the safety and property of people is in the condition of intimidation.Synoptic situation and characteristics of residential and office area of Dazhou electric industry bureau landslide is introduced in this essey by the means of hydrogeologic data collection, Systematical research has done on the cause of landside,harness method,harness design and excution ,the following outcome have been gained:1. Based on the all-sided analysis of geological record,factors of the landside aliving have been summarized and the importance of water,river rush,human activity to the landside have been illustrated seperately.2. Under the condition of test data insufficience,the inversion analysis of parameter has been done according to the finite test data and geological record,based on the inversion analysis,the stability of shallow landside and deep-seated landside have been anslysised and the measures has been adopted alternatively.3. Different harnessing mesure have been taken according to different characteristics in different section and different hazard to people, under the premise of safety ,througth the plan optimization to get the goal of economic rationality.4.
