The airport landside curbsides are for passengers getting in and out of the airport.It mainly includes the terminal curbside and the Ground Transportation Centre(GTC)curbside.With the rapid growth of hub airport aviation and the gradual expansion of airport scale,the landside curbside is becoming a key node in the airport landside traffic system,because of the rapidly increase traffic pressure on the airport landside curbside.Firstly with the reconstruction of hub airport and the appearance of GTC curbside and parking curbside,the layout pattern of airport landside curbsides becomes more and more complicated.Secondly,under the background of the airport comprehensive transportation hub construction,the proportion of non-aviation related passengers in airport landside traffic is increasing.It will form a significant reference to newly round of planning and construction about landside curbside,that makes comprehensive researches on landside curbside scale demand prediction,capacity evaluation,level of service evaluation.Firstly the objective hub airports and research scope which extends from the terminal curbside to the GTC curbside and parking curbside are defined,and then the layout pattern,characteristics and applicable conditions of airport landside curbsides are analyzed respectively through the case study of the typical hub airports in landside curbside.Secondly,from the perspective of the planning and construction about the airport comprehensive transportation hub,based on the prediction of the airport landside traffic volume,the different methods of landside curbside demand scale are analyzed systematically,then carries out the impact analysis of the new traffic formats on landside curbside demand scale.Thirdly,from the two dimensions of landside curbside capacity and service level,the comprehensive evaluation model is established,first,based on the analysis of space-time path of vehicles used on the landside curbside,the basic capacity evaluation model is established,and then the model is revised in combination with the actual situation of terminal curbside and GTC curbside,second,through the analysis of the influencing factors about capacity service level,the corresponding evaluation indicators are selected,then the complete capacity service level evaluation model of landside curbside is established.Finally,Tianjin Airport is taken as an example to verify the established theoretical models of landside curbside layout pattern,landside traffic volume prediction,landside curbside capacity evaluation and service level evaluation,then puts forward the capacity improvement strategies of landside curbside.
