Hydraulic automatic transmission (AT) is currently leading product of automobile automatic transmission system in the world, which has the capability of stepping or continuous shifting and adjusting torque, having good capability of automatic-adjusting and adaptability for exterior load. The automobile with hydraulic automatic transmission has smooth gear shifting and convenient operation. Moreover, it can automatically gearshift in term of optimal occasion, redounding to the improvement of dynamic performance and fuel economy. Many domestic manufacturers have considered this kind of automatic transmission as their development direction, because it has important theory significance and applied value to research on automatic transmission system for accelerating the development of domestic automobile industry and technology advancement.Based on the National Nature and Science Foundation major project, this paper uses the Lingyang car SC7130 as the research object, which equipped with 3AT, building dynamic modeling and simulating analysis for hydraulic automatic transmission system. The primary contents are listed as follow:1) Calculate transmission efficiency of hydraulic automatic transmission at each gearshift based on analysis of specimen structure. Determine the relationship between gear of transmission and control component based on analysis of power transmission route.2) Analyze the torque transmission characteristics, fraction load and hot load theoretically of wet-type clutch, educing that minimization specific discharge cooling-down to the initial temperature during the setting time when clutch integrated, ensuring the reliability of the wet clutch.3) Research on the control of electronic- throttle, exploiting controlled SCM (Single Chip Micyoco) by electronic-throttle, building fast-response control of electronic- throttle based on fuzzy control method.4) Establish the mathematic models of engine torque and engine fuel-consumption using curve fitting method based on the engine performance test, and determine optimal shifting control strategy of HAT, which establish the foundation for automobile equipped with automatic transmission system to achieve optimal economy and optimal power matching, so as system simulation.
