Ultrasonic power supply is the power and control center of ultrasonic peening. Its performance directly affects the quality of ultrasonic peening. Due to the characteristics of the analog parts the control circuit has low degree of accuracy and weak self-adjusting capability. The temperature stability and anti-jamming capacity are not good enough. And a better design is required to meet the needs of ultrasonic peening quality control.Digital signal has many positive characteristics such as the fast transmitting speed and low distortion in gain stages. It has good ability against temperature and jamming interference and it also has good confidentiality. The digital signal is easily handled in computer operating. Due to those reasons the digital power supply are going to be the future technical direction. This thesis studies the design of the digital power supply based on the MSP430 microcontroller according to all the reasons above.The main work and research of introduced in this thesis are listed below:1. This thesis introduces the application system based on the MSP430F449 mcu in detail which including the basic knowledge, use and the exploitation of the 16-bit low power microcontroller.2.The block diagram of main circuit is discussed, and the design work of the CPU module, phase lock and frequency tracing module, constant vibration control module, driving signal output module and signal display module is also presented in detail.3. The possibility using the mcu in digital signal acquisition and processing is discussed. The signal acquisition algorithm is designed using the capture function based on the characteristics of hardware system. The phase lock and frequency tracing program is also designed.4.
