The north area of the mouth of Yangtze River in Yangtze River Delta Plain mainly has soft soil that mixes with alluvial phase, marine phase and the reciprocal deposits of sea as well as land. How to be rightly cognizant of project characteristics and disposal technologies of soft soil of the north area of the mouth of Yangtze River has an important significance to the quality, schedule and expense control of this area construction project. TongQi highway is an important component of " Four Vertical, Four Horizontal, Four Related" highway net in Jiangsu Province. Relying on this road construction, collecting the geology data along the road and the study on physical and mechanical indexes as well as osmosis and structure of typical soft soil confirm calculated parameters of soft soil filter concretion along this area and educe its distortion intention.This study effort direct dynamic optimization of design of TongQi highway groundwork disposition. The right cognition to soft soil groundwork intension better than the ecumenical one reduces civil construction complex materials, structure strengthen measure project workload of sand bedding course thickness and so on as well as increases filling in material of routine plastic soil and so on accordingly. The conclusion of soft soil filter concretion rate along this area faster than the ecumenical one reduces plastic drainage volume and increases the ability of the pile of sifting or scattering of bilateral structure object controlling difference sedimentation in effect. The project construction time limit is cut short to over six months, near 100 million Yuan fund is saved and good social and economic benefit is obtained according to this optimization design.
