| This paper has used the hydromechanical method of calculating, according to every parameter designed confirmed as controlling conditions, use PHOENICS software to mathematic modal's computational analysis Yangshupu harbour pumping station bidirectional inertial-flow pump group, researching the adaptability of diversion and draining of the bidirectional inertial-flow pump group's to flowing path designed, thus determined the pattern and specification of pump group to pumping station. Confirm whether can be adopted by the pumping station. Besides according to the actual conditions, it uses hydraulic modal test to demonstrate whether the real working state of the gate meets the requirement of draining and supplying which is the project's designing and the stability of energy dissipation device under various operating modes, investigating whether the pumping station reach design effect requirement of diversion and draining. Finally, it gives a comprehensive appraisal of the pumping station's basic conditions and its environmental and social benefit. Besides environment value and social value, it synthetic evaluates results of diversion and draining in the project Yangshupu harbour pumping station diversion from the focus on the basic conditions of dispatching in the project's diversion and draining. Through the study suggest that the bidirectional inertial-flow pumping station meets the requirement of diversion and draining in regulation of river in shanghai.
