With the improvement of the national economy,the demand for water supply construction has also increased,it is not only to ensure the safety,economy and stability of the project,it is must also actively adopt new technologies,new materials,and new equipment to make water supply projects more environmentally friendly and efficient.The pumping station is one of the main forms of the water supply project,so its design and construction should meet more people's needs.Most of the pumping stations are located in the mountains,they are high-lift irrigation pumping stations with complex terrain and are mostly long-distance.The long axis water pumping station has some advantages,for example small installation area,good cavitation performance and easy to start-up.It is also suitable for high lift,large flow,and large head swing conditions.Therefore,the long axis water pumping station is widely used,such as Guizhou Tangzhai Power Plant Project,Ningxia Hongsipu Yangshui Project,Shanxi Duhe Water Lift Project,Changzhi Houwan Reservoir Expansion Project,etc.However,the long-axis take-off pump station will generate vibration during the operation,which will result in a reduction in the efficiency of the pump unit and even a failure of the unit.In addition,the larger variable-range water level also puts forward higher requirements for the operating mode of the pumping station.Therefore,the research on the hydraulic characteristics of this new water supply system for the long axis water pumping station has become a top priority.The study of the water supply system of the long axis water pumping station mainly includes the study of the hydraulic characteristics of the long axis water pumping station and the gravity flow,they can achieve the decision of the water hammer protection measures of the water supply system to ensure the safe operation of the pumping station.Based on the existing achievements at home and abroad,this paper combines the water supply system of the Songxi long axis water pumping station in DashuiWang,Shanxi.The research content is as follows:(1)From the water pump shaft and speed angle.,analyze the cause of vibration of the long axis water pump and the influencing factors of the unit efficiency.(2)Establish a steady-state mathematical model of the long-axis water pumping station,calculate the steady-state operating conditions of the pump station under the condition that the water level amplitude is large.Based on the current advanced frequency conversion technology,it can find a optimal speed in the high-efficiency area of the long-axis water pump station.(3)Establish a mathematical model of the gravity flow hydraulic transition process,to calculate its steady state and the transition process under the valveless protection.Based on analysis in the end of the flow regulating pressure regulator valve,select a reasonable way to close the valve.(4)Study the working principle and characteristics of intake and exhaust valves and flow regulating pressure regulating valves,build its mathematical model,analysis of boundary conditions.Under this premise,calculate the transition process and prefer the valve closing mode.(5)Established mathematical model of steady-state and hydraulic transition process and initial and boundary conditions,apply for Visual Basic 6.0 programming language and SQL database,develop the water pumping station hydraulic characteristics analysis system.(6)Take the Songxi Water Supply Project in Shanxi Dashui Network as an example,Simulate Steady State and Gravity Flow Hydraulic Transition.
