| Plane multi-wheels gate is one type of the gate, and it is used widely. When the gate is very huge, it is difficult to transporting and fixing, so it is designed by dividing it to several parts along the high direction of a gate, and these parts are joined as a whole by frictional high strength bolts. Gate is a complicated spatial structure, and there are two ways to design it. One called planar system design method, which design the every component of a gate respectively by looking it as a planar system, and this method is used widely now for it's facility. But this method could not reflect the interaction among all components of a gate. The other method called spatial structure design method, which analysis the gate by using the three-dimensional finite element technology. This method can simulate a gate as a structure accurately. But, it could not be used widely, because the workload about calculation is very heavy and the process of modeling is very difficult. As declared by the criterion that the error between these two methods is from 10%~15%. And now the planar system design method has not supply a solution to check the intensity of every bolt which joined all parts of agate. So it is very significative and necessary to analysis the gate which designed with divided parts and joined by bolts to insure the gate can work safely.In this paper, three-dimensional finite element technology is used to make certain the location of every main beam to insure the loads which act on every main beam are equal. There for, through comparing precision of several finite element model about main beam, one accurate model is supplied.The most important job worked in this paper is that a method about how to simulating the join created by frictional high strength bolts accurately is supplied. This method can be a reference for designers to make a finite element analysis for a gate. With these productions, Wu Du accident insurance gate is calculated with spatial finite element analysis method as a study object. |
