With the development of science and technology, the need of micromanipulation system is becoming more and more urgent, so that the development of micro electro- mechanical system is promoted. In this dissertation, the calculations of elliptical arc flexure hinge are deduced by introducing the concept of centrifugal angle. The finite element model of the elliptical arc flexure hinge was proposed, we compare the calculated results to those obtained by a finite-element method. And the rationality of elliptical arc flexure hinge's equations is verified.A multi-objective optimization model with angle and maximal stress is established on the structures of elliptical arc flexure hinge. And an optimal design is investigated by using an improved particle swarm optimization. The better structural parameters of elliptical arc flexure hinge are obtained. A nonlinear strategy of decreasing inertia weight is proposed based on the existing linear DIW, and the experimental results show that the performance of Improved Particle Swarm Optimization is better.This paper applies elliptical flexure hinge to Micro-Gripper and establishes its pseudo-rigid- body model. The formulas of input force and output of Micro-Gripper were presents. On the basis of this, an optimal design was investigated, the calculation was executed on optimal mechanism and proved its better static and dynamic performance. The dynamic model of Micro-Gripper is established and the dynamic analysis is achieved with ADAMS and MATLAB.
