Color consciousness is the feeling how people react to color. The study of chroma has built the correspondence relation between the light stimulation and color consciousness amounts, which makes it possible to measure color consciousness amounts indirectly by measuring the light amounts. Therefore, the light amounts measurement is pivotal to quantifying color precisely. A spectrophotometer can be used to measure spectrum reflectivity or the transmissivity. The instruments in being are low-speed and behind available engineering level, a high speed and high-accuracy spectrophotometer is required. The new system aims to improve the measuring speed. A design scheme for the new spectrophotometer is presented in this paper: a product is adopted as the spectral module, a pulse xenon lamp is adopted as the standard illuminant, CY7C68013 in EZ-USB FX2 series is chosen as the microcontroller of electron circuit, and finally some experiment are carried out on the EZ-USB FX2 exploitation board.The work such as the control of the spectral module to gain and deliver the accurate photoelectricity signal , the realization of the design scheme presented using material objects as well as the cooperation with the platform to get high speed are the important content for future.
