In this thesis , meshless method (MLM) is extended to applied to study electromagnetic scattering and radiation problems. Comparing with the mesh-based method, moving least square method (MLS) requiring only nodal data but no element data is employed to construct the shape function. In terms of the electromagnetic integral equation, a solution scheme of electromagnetic scattering and radiation by using method of mesh-free is presented.First, the characteristic and advantages of shape function of MLM, which constructed by MLS is discussed. Next, according the weighted residual method (WRM), based on the electromagnetic integral equation, element-free galerkin method (EFGM) has been employed to solve electromagnetic scattering and radiation problems. In order to validate the proposed method, the thin wire and conductor flat is solved, and the approach of meshless method have been describes in details . In addition, the paper mainly studies some parameters: the basis function, the types of weight function and the influence domain of the weight function, which influence the precision in element free galerkin method. The thesis made a promising study on applying MLM in electromagnetic scattering and radiation and provide a base for further application of the fast algorithm.
