| In this paper, an extensive research was conducted to give the reliability analysis for ultimate load-bearing capacity of reinforced recycled concrete (RRC) beam designed according to the present Code GB 50010. The research work has shown the following:(1) The results of bending failure tests of RRC beams were analyzed. It was found that the ultimate bending capacity of RRC beam is not affected obviously by the variability of the stress-strain curve of recycled concrete (RC), which is similar to the reinforced common concrete (RCC) beam. Compared to the RCC beam, the mean value of the ratio of test to calculated ultimate bending capacity descends slightly, when the variation coefficient goes up. It was suggested that, the mean value and variation coefficient of the indetermination coefficient of calculational mode were fixed at 1.0 and 0.08 respectively.(2) The results of shearing failure tests of RRC beams were also investigated. It is found that, the effect of shear span to depth ratio, concrete strength and stirrup ratio to the ultimate shearing capacity of RRC beams are almost the same to that of RCC beams. Compared to RCC beams, the mean value of the ratio of test to calculated ultimate bending capacity descends slightly for RRC beam without stirrups while ascends for that with stirrups, when variation coefficient goes up slightly for both of them. According ro the analysis, the mean value and variation coefficient of the indetermination coefficient of calculational mode for RRC beam without stirrups were fixed at 1.7 and 0.18, and for that with stirrups 1.5 and 0.18 respectively.(3) Based on statistics, the reliability analysis of bending RRC beams was given. The results illustrated the different effects of strength of RC, reinforcement... |
