Self-anchored suspension bridge has won more and more engineering's favors with its beauteous build, economy performance and striving adaptability of geology and topography feathers. It has become a very competitive blue print of the urban bridge with the span from 100m to 400m. Relying on the project of Sanchaji self-anchored suspension bridge, this thesis points out some key technical problems of the self-anchored suspension bridge. The main work in this thesis is described as follows:(1) This thesis introduces phylogeny and application actuality inland and abroad, summarizes the basic construction and forcing characteristic, and indicates the existed problems and developing trend of self-anchored suspension bridge.(2) This thesis introduces background of design, calculation and construction.(3)This thesis advances the design principia and concludes that the cable anchorage system of self-anchored suspension bridge can adopt the direct anchorage system like cable-supported bridge, hybrid anchorage system, deck anchorage system and loop cable anchorage system. Meanwhile, this thesis estimates the application range, advantages and disadvantages of each anchorage system, and discusses several methods of dealing with the cable's vertical component. All above may become a direction to the deign and construction of the same type bridge.(4)A large scale (1:3.2) anchorage model is tested for the deck anchorage system design of the Sanchaji self-anchored suspension bridge. Through the experimental results and the 3-D finite element analysis results of the model, it is validates that this deck anchorage system have large overload capacity, and this system is safe and reliable. The conclusions and suggestions can direct the anchorage system design of self-anchored bridge.(5)1:5 segmental model experiment of steel box girder of SanChaJi Bridge in ChangSha City is introduced. The experiment includes two models with different structural arrangements. One is open stiffened plates for web which destroys because of local bucking, the other is U-rib stiffened plates which destroys because of material yielding. At last, the paper put forward some problem worthy of studying more in the future。(6) Various method of corrosion prevention systems for steel structure home and abroad are summarized in this paper. According to our country's engineering practice, electric arc aluminum-Spraying long-terming corrosion is adopted in SanChaiJi bridge, and its life, economics, techniques are also analyzed in detail.(7)Taking full advantages of watertightness, durability and anti-cracking characters of gussasphalt, this kind of asphalt is selected to be the underlayer of Xiangjiang river Sanchaji Bridge pavements。According to the applied conditions of this bridge,analyzing the performance of bridge pavements, the author provided ideal pavement structure of good performance.
