| As the speciality of the loading of tank, vehicle and hovercraft on a vehicle deck of the landing craft, the thesis, based upon the FEM calculation, shows the results of the research of current rules from different class societies and the outline of the establishment of a new strength criterion for these load cases. The applicability of the current rules is studied in the first part of the thesis. The contact problem between the landing cushion of the hovercraft and the vehicle deck is analysed with the help of FEM software MSC.Marc, which include four different load cases depending on the four typical locations of the cushions. The results are also compared with the linear elastic load on the vehicle deck, from which some more conclusions are made. From the most dangerous load location, the outline of the establishment of the strength criterion is brought out, which will surely help with the final completion of the rules for the vehicle deck. |
