Now the industry of battery has been developed rapidly, batteries especially secondary batteries are widely used in great range.Nickel hydrogen battery is a new energy resources technology. It has become the hotspot of new energy resources and power technology development in the twenty-first century because its advantages, such as low noise, low pollution, without eroding, low lifetime, high power density, high efficiency, safety, stability and so on. To research of nickel hydrogen battery, thermal modeling is the important aspect.Nickel hydrogen battery is widely used. At recently, we mainly determine its structure with the help of experiments which are highly cost. As a result, the development of nickel hydrogen battery is restricted. When nickel hydrogen battery works, it is affected by the environment much, especially the temperature, so it is significative to develop a thermal model to analyze the temperature field of nickel hydrogen battery effectively.In this article, the mathematic models related to nickel hydrogen battery are expatiated, and a two-dimension model of signal cell of stack, a two-dimension model of battery and a three-dimension model of battery are built, which are applied to analyze and discuss the thermal questions.The basic functions including the flow, mass-transfer and...
