| A cogeneration system could utilize limited resources effectively, decrease environment destruction and guarantee the reliability of energy supply, also featured by small investment cost, rapid feedback, low emissions, low energy transmit wastage and high energy efficiency, so became the trend of distributed energy supply system.However, the optimization of cogeneration systems is of crucial importance for rational utilize of natural and economic resources and for minimizing their adverse effect on the environment. Design optimization means the modification of the configuration, facilities scheme and operational strategy of a system to minimize the objective function of the system to satisfy energy demands under boundary conditions associated with available materials, financial resources, protection of the environment and governmental regulations, together with safety, operability, reliability, availability and maintainability of the system. So based on the energy balance and performance characteristics of cogeneration system, the theoretic researches of integrated optimization of facilities scheme and operational strategy on a cogeneration system was performed in this paper. |
