Thermal power plant optimal load allocation is an important measure to improveits economic benefits.Under certain constraints, the optimization of load distribution isvirtually an optimization method, which allocates total load between different units onthe basis of running characteristics of units, making the coal consumption beminimum. This paper deals with the Linhe thermal power plant2×300MW cogenerationunits, discussion focuses on the question of load optimization in cogeneration powerplant, especially on the research of optimization methods.Firstly, this paper analysesseveral current load distribution methods, pointing out their deficiencies, and thenputs forward a new optimization method---the method of historical conditionoptimum seeking. On the basis of historical operation data, with factorycomprehensive standard coal consumption for thermal economic index, this methodincludes three steps:firstly, it needs to fit out the coal consumption characteristicequation of each unit through calculation of the thermal system of principle, as afoundation condition library for the thermal load distribution;and then it needs toestablish the mathematical model of thermal load distribution;at last,we can figure outthe best match between operating condition libraries of each unit. The thermal allocation system in Linhe power plant is developed with the supportof Microsoft Visual Studio2010. Compared with historical operation data, a largenumber of software allocation results show that the system makes the optimizationschemes economic and feasible, which verifies the effectiveness and stability of themethod and achieves the purpose of energy saving of the thermal power plant.
