Digital high voltage power supplies are widely used in many fields. Digital high voltage power supplies with high frequency and high power are required by the development of many new technologies, such as research of crop electrostatic effect in agriculture field and numeric imaging of X-ray for medical uses. The technology of high voltage power supply has been successfully developed in advanced countries, but is underdevelopment in China. Under such background, some technical questions of high voltage power supplies were investigated by using theoretical analysis, numerical simulation and experiment in this paper. In VVVF part, according to the characteristic output voltage and current vs. frequency for the two kinds of analyzed resonant circuit of High digital voltage power supplies, the topology structure of series resonant circuit was selected. The selective principle of IGBT was given based on such analysis.By analyzing the features of high frequency high voltage transformer and the difficulties to make it, some reasonable design schemes and measures were proposed.Two multiple and rectification circuit diagrams were built with PSpice software and output characteristics of them were analyzed and compared with different circuit parameters. Based on the analytical results, reasonable choice was made.Circuit model of High digital voltage power supplies were built with MatLab software.
