With the development of automobile industry and traffic transportation, the traffic accidents happen every day in the world and become a serious society problem.In the paper, a vehicle as research object is regarded and based on reasonable suppositions. relevant mechanics theories such as kinetic energy theorem, momentum theorem and so on are applied to establish respective collisions models for different collision types and discuss the velocities before and after collision are discussed. In addition, a set of parameter optimization method based on computer circulation iteration is introduced in the software. The parameter optimization method which regards the actual vehicle stop position as target could increase the calculation accuracy of the software.On the bases of collision model and optimization model, the road traffic accident reconstruction software is developed. Compared with the impact test and road traffic accident scene, this software is valid and able to provide a scientific tool for disposal and analysis of road traffic accident.
