With the development of Power Electronics, the technology of power is gradually being perfect. Due to wide applications of the rectifiers, various harmonic waves are produced. They pollute the electric network seriously and reduce the efficiency of production, transmission and utilization of electricity. To solve this matter, we should make input current wave sine, to improve power factor of the system. At the same time, DC soft-switching technique is the key technique in high frequency and high density converter.Nowadays, Power Factor Correction (PFC) technique and DC/DC soft-switching PWM technique are both widely researched.A kind of AC/DC converter is designed in this paper to meet the demand of its consumer. It consists of forward and backward stage, of which the forward is a single-phase Boost Power Factor Correction circuit, and the backward stage main circuit is a Full-bridge converter using Phase-shifting Control ZVZCS Soft-switching technique.The design project has been given in the paper in first, the principle of APFC technology is analyzed in basic theory, the work process of ZVT-Boost APFC and the control chip UC3855 are analyzed in detail, and the parameters of the circuit are calculated; The traits of phase-shifting full-bridge are introduced and the process of the Full-bridge converter using Phase-shifting Control ZVZCS Soft-switching technique is analyzed concretely, the parameters of this part circuit are also calculated accordingly.Finally, a 1KW power converter module prototype is designed in this paper. The results from experiments and simulations reveal that the design of system is feasible and the performance of the converter can meet the demand of the design.
