With the increase of rotational speed of rotary and the improvement of its performance, the vibration characteristic of the rotor system has been becoming a research focus. The gear rotors system is applied abroad and it has become a very important research field. Because of the gears meshing, bending vibration and bending vibration of rotors is coupling. We can't analyze the dynamics character of rotors system whit only one rotor. In order to analyze the dynamics character of gear rotors system, the lateral-torsional coupling vibration frequency equation must be set up.Firstly, the paper introduced the favorite calculation methods to analyze dynamics character of rotors system. Intensive study the whole transmission matrix method, Riccati transmission matrix and Riccati irregularity eradicate. Then author bring forth the whole transmission matrix Riccati method. This method reserves the merit of the whole transmission matrix method, and eradicates opposite sign infinity irregularity of Riccati transmission matrix. It is easy to work out general computer program, and to predominate for engineers and technicians.The linear force coupling models of helix gear and vertical bevel gear are set up. The calculation method of the meshing stiff and meshing damping are introduced. The coupling matrix of helix gear coupling unit and vertical bevel gear coupling unit of gear rotors system are deduced. The whole transmission matrix method is applied to analyze the lateral-torsional coupling vibration of gear rotors system. The results indicate that, for the gear meshing, bending vibration and bending vibration of rotors is coupling, and the vibration of rotors is coupling too. The critical speed will be lost which is created by coupling of rotors if the gear meshing is not considered.The whole transmission matrix to calculate the stable unbalanced response of gear rotors system is studied. According to the linear force coupling model of gear, the coupling matrix of gear coupling unit is deduced. The method is applied successfully to calculate the stable unbalanced response of gear rotors system. The results indicate that, based upon different condition, gear meshing will emphasize or depress the unbalanced response of gear rotors system.
