| Taking the entire design procedure of wearing experiment machine of plastic nylon water-lubricated bearing as an example, this thesis first analyzes the development situation and questions of plastic nylon bearing in China; secondly, it introduces the entire design procedures of the experiment machine, including the design and verification of traditional mechanical parts, and the application of the virtual instrument technology in measurement and automation system of experiment machine. Finally, this thesis displays the actual effects of the designed nylon bearing wearing machine in the experiment.In the designing programs of mechanical structure, the manners of loading and measuring are designed according to the specific situation of friction pair of the experiment machine. The transmission system, loading system and lubricate system are also designed, and the important parts are verified. The jobs mainly include the design of shaft in the transmission system, the verification of coupling key, the selection of bearing and bearing bracket, and the selection of couple; the design of manual loading by using screw and lever in transmission system; the design of control cabinet of experiment machine etc.In the design of measurement and automation platform, the measurement and automation system of the experiment machine is built up by applying virtual instruments technology; appropriate data acquisition equipments are selected to measure the signals of the experiment machine; and the signals are displayed, analyzed and stored on the computer by using data acquisition equipments. The development environment of virtual instrument-LabVIEW is introduced, and the testing analysis software of the experiment machine is designed by LabVIEW.The application of the nylon bearing wearing machine shows that the experiment machine could exactly measure the PV value of the plastic nylon bearing, and thus it could provide standards for the testing and producing control of relevant production.
