A Study On Regional Port Hierarchy Layout Base On Fuzzy Clustering Algorithm

With the economic development in the world in 21 century, the international trade becomes more and more frequent and the amout of conveyance of the goods is also increasing with each passing day. The development of the economic and trade brings the prosperity of the shipping industry. The development of economy and the shipping industry bring about the newly-development of the port industry. The leaders in State Department made decision about speeding the development of port in 2003 and the adoptting of Law of Port in 1st January 2004 encourages the foreign capital to enter the port industry which fasten the development of port construction in whole country. The problems also arised with development. Namely,there are too many repeated work in port construction and contradiction in capacity of throughtput. Therefore, the importance of the research on Regional Port hierarchy layout is evident.The basic knowledge of the layout between port and port are first introduced and the definition of d port hierarchy layout is provided. Then, the analysis of the influence factors to the port hierarchy layout is done based on the previous study and evaluating index system of the port hierarchical layout is established by using AHP. The foundational Theories of Algorithm is introduced to port hierarchy layout.That is the Fuzzy Clustering Model of port hierarchical layout.This thesis takes eight coastal ports in Shandong province as examples and the result is obtained by means of the MATLAB. The result shows that Qingdao port is the first layer, Yantai and Rizhao port belong to the second layer and the others are the third layer, which provide the theoretical support to the coastal port project in Shandong province. The development project of coastal port in Shandong province is that Qingdao is the central port while Yantai and Rizhao are important ports.
