A lot of cable-stayed bridges have been built in the world because of their special superiority in economy , structure and architecture and so on. In order to construct the bridge safely and successfully ,to make the bridge alignment accord with design paper and aesthetics during service time ,we have to study the construction control technics of long-span bridge.In this paper, the principles and methods of construction control are explored. The writer introduces the theory of adaptive control to the construction of cable-stayed bridges, and analysis the displacement and internal force of the main bridge in the highway from Changzhou to Jiangyin. Factors of important influence on construction control are also discussed and conclusion.According to the parameter sensitivity analysis, we get to the conclusion that the weight of the beam, cross section stiffness and temperature have great influence on the flexibility of the structure in construction, especially in long cantilever construction stage. So we should attach more important to the long cantilever construction stage.During the construction control of the cable-stayed bridge, measuring points were commonly used to monitor the construction procedure .The points show great significant in construction of the bridge. According to the optimizing analysis for the measuring points, we get a practical scheme for construction, greatly decrease the amount of work and probability of the main measuring points disturbed and shielded by the minor points.
