Regarding the reinforced engineering of tall building-Nanjing Canvass Business Bureau International Banking Center as the background engineering in this paper, the characteristic of the reinforced engineering of high building setting up continuously is analyzed and structural energy-dissipation technology solution projects are put forward on the part of buildings that have been set up but not on the part of buildings that is going to setting up. The condition and extent of the two solution projects and the key problems in the process of application are discussed.Firstly, the common reinforced measure is introduced briefly and advantage and disadvantage of the common reinforced measure are analyzed. The characteristics of the reinforced engineering of tall building in some kinds of circumstance which may be met often is discussed one by one. The degree of the influence of each factors on vertical member and lateral resisting member of the part of buildings that have been set up is discussed and the degree of the influence of each factor is compared; The main problem in each circumstance is confirmed.Secondly, on base of the characteristic of the reinforced engineering of tall building, the feasibility of the application of structural energy-dissipation technology in the reinforced engineering of high building is demonstrated. By comparing the reinforced measure using structural energy-dissipation technology to the common reinforced measure in the two aspects of technique and economy, the application of structural energy-dissipation technology in the reinforced engineering of tall building is a new and feasible way in solving the problem and has some advantages; Two projects using structural energy-dissipation technology is presented, the condition and extent of each project is set forth. The two projects can adapt many reinforced engineering of tall building. The design steps of the reinforced measure using structural energy-dissipation technology and the key problem in the process of design are further discussed, and some design suggestions about the reinforced measure using structural energy-dissipation technology are presented.Finally, the calculating example- Nanjing Canvass Business Bureau International Banking Center is analyzed. The projects using structural energy-dissipation technology is applied to solve the problem in this engineering for avoiding reinforcing the member in the part of buildings that have been set up. The calculating results show using structural energy-dissipation technology can be effective in completing the reinforcement of the part of buildings that have been set up and increase the integral earthquake resistant capability effectively. In the aspect of economy, through using structural energy-dissipation technology the number of the lateral resisting member is reduced that decrease the cost of development expenditure and gain much invisible economic value.
