The settlement calculation of single pile is the theory basis of pile design. In the past decades, Domestic and foreign researchers have made many achievements about research on the settlement of single pile under static load, but there are still many problems, one of their is that there has been little research on the settlement of single pile considering the effect of embedded depth for bedrock, and there are even less research on settlement of pile based on theory of pile longitudinal vibration. For this sake, analysis theory of pile-soil interaction about pile longitudinal vibration are used to study the settlement of single pile under static load in this thesis, a virtual pile method is proposed for analysis of pile settlement, the effect of embedded depth for bedrock is applied to research on the settlement of single pile in this thesis. The main original work includes:1.The settlement of single pile in saturated and homogenized soil are studied.In homogeneous soil, the soil between pile end and bedrock is thought as friction pile(made of soil), the material parameters of virtual pile is the same to those of the soil, impedance function at pile top of stratified soil is derivationed by Qiang Li method, then the solution of settlement at pile top under static load is solved with the convolution theorem of Fourier transform, meanwhile, the settlement of single pile is studied based on the solution considering the effect of relevant factors.2.The settlement of single pile in damping and homogenized soil are studied.Based on the longitudinal vibration theory of soil-pile interaction in damping and homogenized soil, the virtual pile method is used to calculate the displacement at the pile head for general non-socket piles, the rigorous analytical research and analysis is proceeded in the perspect of the pile longitudinal vibration ,meanwhile, the settlement of single pile is also studied by the solution considering the effect of relevant factors.3. Comparative analysis of solutions in this thesis and analysis of case historyFirstly, a comparative analysis is procceded in the semi-analytic solutions from this paper. Secondly, the features of the other representative theoretical solution's calculated model are expounded in comparison with the calculated model in this thesis, the reasonable and inadequate features of solutions in this thesis are generalized. The analysis of case history are carried out finally.
