Finite Element Analysis Of Mindlin Solution And Solution Of Single Pile With Cap

Mindlin solution is widely used in pile foundation settlement analysis and underground space development and utilization.However,the accuracy of Mindlin formula itself is not studied,which is the motivation of this study.With the rapid development of high-rise buildings today,the application of pile foundation is more common,the calculation of pile foundation settlement is more strict.In the method of pile foundation settlement calculation,the field or model test is influenced by soil and environmental factors.The development of computer hardware and software has led to the numerical simulation method,and the contact surface and boundary condition in numerical simulation have a great impact on the results.Theoretical analysis is fundamental to experiment and simulation.However,in the theoretical analysis and calculation,the method of analyzing the distribution of pile stress and displacement taking into account pile-soil relative slip is not well established,which requires further investigation.The main contents of this paper are divided into three parts:(1)The Mindlin formula and its application are introduced,and the solution of force at a point in the interior of a semi-infinite solid by Mindlin formula is compared with ANSYS finite element solution.The influences of the elastic modulus and Poisson's ratio,the value and the acting position of the load on the Mindlin solution are considered.A correction formula is developed from the results.(2)This paper introduces the method of solving the settlement of single pile by using Mindlin formula in elastic theory,deduces the formula of single pile settlement relate to the pile-soil slip.It is realized by Matlab software,and the results are compared with the correction formula.The effect of the load value and the length-diameter ratio on the stress distribution of the soil which adjent to the pile is taken into account.(3)This paper introduces Poulos method of Mindlin formula to solve the settlement of single pile and single pile with cap in elastic theory,and deduces the calculation formula of pile settlement considering pile-soil relative slip for a single pile with pile cap.The influences of the value of the load,the aspect ratio of the pile,the diameter of the pile cap and the ratio of the pile cap diameter to the pile diameter are taken into account.
