As the development of foundation handling technology, all kinds of composite foundation technologies are being applied in civil engineering. Researchers in domestic and foreign have made a lot of tests and theory researches on bearing capacity, deformation and so on. Also, some theories and computation methods are presented. Deformation in flexible pile-composite foundation includes vertical deformation (named settlement) and radial deformation, but till now, analysis about radial deformation is much less.This paper takes the flexible single-pile-composite foundation under rigid base as the research object, according to the elastic theory, makes an analysis to the pile's radial deformation and the radial pile-soil action along the pile, according to the Boussinesq's solution and the theory of elasticity, derivates the simplified computation formula about the soil; Then, according to theory analysis, the paper discusses the influences of parameters to the radial deformation, such as modulus and Poisson's ratio of pile and soil, pile-soil stress ratio, replacement rate and so on, and discusses the influences of pile-soil radial mutual action to the single pile bearing, which is produced by the radial deformation, through analysis, gets some meaningful conclusions. At last, in order to explain the feasibility of the theory analysis, based on calculation assumptions and boundary conditions, the finite element analysis model is made, and the results computed by the finite element numerical simulation makes comparison the results from the theory method presented by the article, which are compatible.
