Gear transmission is the most popular in the machinery and equipment, while the gear fault is an important factor of inducing the failure of machinery, so it is very critical to diagnose gear faults accurately and quickly. Nowadays, intelligent gear faults diagnosis system has been regarded as a powerful measure to ensure the equipment work efficiently and safely. Therefore, the research on the intelligent gear faults diagnosis is significant in theory and valuable in application.This paper is based on the research item that was supported by the Education Ministry of Gansu Province. The research and analysis in the gearbox of the decelerating machine On-line Monitor and Diagnosis System for Large Rotational Machinery based on time domain and frequency domain (Item number: 0503B-07). Based on the investigating of the mechanism of vibration and the characteristics of time and frequency of fault gear deeply, this paper proved the diagnosis of the gearbox properties in detail syncretize lots of techinc and its correctness and validity through experiments.The major works of this thesis are listed as follows:(1) Contrapose the abnormity and invalidation of the gearbox, systemic research on the mechanism of Vibration and the noise of the gearbox was carried out. The mathematical model of the vibration mechanism of the gearbox is built. The character of the fault in the mesh frequency and the frequency of circumrorate was narrated in detail.(2) Contrapose the frequency of circumrorate and the character of the fault in the mesh frequency, the author discuss the difference of the characteristic of the time domain and frequency domain between the normal singal and fault singal, and expatiate the way to collect the characteristic gearbox fault singal in detail. 12 kinds of fault indexes of the time domain and frequency domain and other faults are concluded, such as normal gearbox ,the eccentricity of the gear, wear and tear equality, the flaw of the gear, the break of the gear, agglutination and corrode the gear surface ,crack axes, imbalance of the axes, bend the axes lightly and heavily, the fault of the bearing and the anisomerous axes.(3) The structure of the experiment system are as follows , the design of thesystem, the constitute of the platform of the experiment, the capability of the platform of the experiment ,the setting of the fault of the gearbox and the choice of the measure point are narrated in detail.(4) Synthetize analyze in the time domain and frequency domain and many other synthesis analyzes in faults diagnosis are applied in 4 kinds of gearbox faults in detail, such as corrode the point, crack axes, bearing fault, anisomerous connected .Validate the correctness of the diagnosis compared to the gearbox table of syncretize of lots of techinc Properties in the diagnosis of the gearbox.
