When single-phase permanent earthing occurs, it is very difficult to choose the line because of the weak fault signal in the non-effectively grounding.The set has two ways to actualize it,based on Industrial Personal Computer or the Single Chip Microcomputer.But the set based on Industrial Personal Computer is expensive,and it has some damageable components. On other way around, The Single Chip Microcomputer have some merit,such as its twopenny cost ,predominant dependability and simplify operation,which drive the phase-to-ground fault in ineffectively grounded systems based on the Single Chip Microcomputer moving towards deepening constantly.This paper introduces a phase-to-ground fault in ineffectively grounded systems based on the C8051F120,and analysis the theory of the fault line selective Methods in Small Current Grounding Power System.The design and hardware structure of the system are presented in the paper.The device have prompt speed,enough memory and high varacity.And the system is put into operation,which has proved its validity.
