| It is important to monitoring power cable joint temperature in cable branch box, for improving security of cable work and city power supply level. According to the actual demands of the power-supply enterprises, we design a new type of temperature monitoring system for power cable joint via research and analysis. The system is constituted by the monitoring terminal, the data concentrator and the monitoring center.As the head of the whole monitoring system, the research and development for the server software relates to multiple technologies including data analysis and process, pre-alarm, fault evaluation, network communication and database management, etc. The server software is able to monitor the real-time running status of cable joint in each cable branch box and the operator can grasp the "healthy" status of cable joint instantly. As a result, faults of HV cable joint are reduced effectively, the safe reliability of power supplying is ensured, economy effectiveness is improved in power-supply enterprises. |
